What is E-liquid?
First of all, I want you to know that liquid of e-cigarettes, e-liquid, e-juice, vape juice and e-juice all refer to the same thing, a kind of liquid vaporized into aerosol by an electronic device.

Different Types of E-liquids
The most fantastic advantage of vaping is that there are thousands of flavors leaving you to make a choice, it’s a bit ridiculous for its numerous flavors compared to traditional tobacco which merely has tobacco/menthol flavor. Shortfill
Shortfill vape juices are larger bottles of liquid in 0mg nicotine strength, including 50ml and 100ml bottles that are only filled to 80% capacity. As these e-liquids are designed to have a nicotine shot added, they have a slightly higher percentage of flavouring so the end e-liquid isn't over-diluted.
But why there need to be a non-nicotine vape juice? Shortfill e-liquids were first introduced to the market in 2017 following the implementation of the TPD (Tobacco Products Directive). Before the new laws, you were able to buy larger bottles of e-liquid which contained nicotine. However, the TPD restricts any nicotine containing e-liquids to a maximum size of 10ml. Therefore, shortfills were created as a way to keep the convenience and cost saving of bigger bottles while keeping compliant with the TPD laws.
Nicotine Shot
Nicotine Shot (Nic Shot) is an unflavoured e-liquid designed for use with short fill e-liquids, these 10ml bottles can be added to any nicotine free shortfill e-liquid. Nic shots are small, 10mL TPD compliant bottles of nicotine e-liquid. Not intended to be vaped on their own, they're made to be mixed with larger bottles of nicotine free e-liquid(namely shortfill). They can also be used for discreet vaping, topping up on nicotine or diluting a juice. For example, adding a 10ml 18mg booster to a 50ml shortfill, will create 60ml of 3mg eliquid.

50-50 E-liquid
In general, 50/50 e-liquid is vape juice with a balanced 50% (namely 50PG/50VG) ratio of the main e liquid ingredients: PG (propylene glycol) and VG (vegetable glycerin) as I mentioned above. These ingredients are important in helping you choose the right type of e-liquid for your vape pod/mod system.
50/50 vape juice is the ideal place to start when making the switch from conventional smoking to vaping. 50VG/50PG e-juice is highly compatible with starter kits, giving a smooth throat hit and with bucket loads of flavours.
High VG E-liquid
The term high VG refers to the level of VG(vegetable glycerin) presents in the vaping liquid, commonly a 70VG/30PG or 80VG/20PG(seldom) ratio, often mixed with lower nicotine strength 0mg, 3mg and 6mg. High VG e-liquids are ideal for sub-ohm vaping devices, it’s great for huge and cloudy vapor production and a smooth throat hit.
